PERSONAL PROJECT -RETRO DIMENSIONS AND TIME TRAVEL

Sometimes we all have to make time for a personal project. This one was a quick one in between my bookings. I wanted to go back in time with a selection of 2 colours: RED and GREEN.

I didn't include any branding as this is a personal project and not a test shoot.

I decided to use French-style glass and plastic spoons to give it that retro vibe that I really love.

Some images are just ice cream bowls and some are just strawberries and more red vegetables. The inspiration came from 70s cookbooks and something very unlikely!

I am fascinated by physics and dimensions/time travel. I wanted to play on those themes even that might not be as obvious at first sight.

When using only 2 main colours in this case Red and Green I had to make sure I keep things simple.

This was also a freehand shoot. I used my Nikon Z7 and then a 24-70 f4 lens.

It is so important as a freelance- photographer based in Scotland, to allow time for personal projects like this one.
