SHOOTING FOR WEE TASTE OF EDINBURGH

Recently I got commissioned to capture most vibrant and amazing menu at “Wee Taste oF Edinburgh’ grazing board and wine bar in Tollcross area of Edinburgh.
Karly who is the owner of this colourful place, lived in Spain and also loved local Scottish produce. This is how this place was born! it served all local foods, vegan cheeses, meats and wine.
The brief:
Karly wanted virbancy and to make the images pop. She also makes beautiful platters so we wanted them to reflect and represent what is Wee taste.
We decided to go for vibrant backgrounds to match the interior design of the place and used some colour theory to make the platters pop even more.
It was my pleasure to add Karly to my Edinburgh clients list and recreate her art in my studio. We split this shoot into two. One remote ( all done in the studio, food styling included)this is a great example how we can recreate the food for a venue remotely in a studio) and on location where we took some editorial photographs of Karly at @aweetasteofedinburgh.
